Ii. Introduction
The new technology of ultraviolet irradiation crosslinking wire and cable is an innovative achievement which is developed by our country and has the property rights and the advanced level at home and abroad. At present, the main cross-linking insulation technologies in the world are peroxide cross-linking, silane cross-linking and electron beam assisted cross-linking. Uv crosslinking is a new kind of crosslinking technology. Its principle is as follows: polyolefin is used as the main raw material and an appropriate amount of photoinitiator is added. Ultraviolet light is irradiated, and the specific wavelength of ultraviolet light is absorbed through the photoinitiator to generate polyethylene macromolecular free radicals and a series of rapid polymerization reactions occurs to generate the crosslinked polyethylene insulated cable with three-dimensional network structure. Through this new process, the crosslinked polyethylene insulated wire and cable has excellent high temperature resistance, solvent resistance, excellent electrical properties and significantly enhanced mechanical properties. The new technology of UV cross-linked wire and cable opens up a new way for the production technology of UV cross-linked cable in our country.
Iii. Characteristics
Uv irradiation crosslinking cable material has excellent processing properties, the surface of the cable insulation core manufactured by this product is smooth and smooth, and there is no pre-crosslinking. At the same time, it has the characteristics of fast setting speed and simple extrusion process. Because the ultraviolet irradiation production method is completed in one time crosslinking, compared with silane crosslinking cable material, it saves time and labor, improves the production efficiency and reduces the cost.
Iv. Comparison between the low-voltage cable produced by UV crosslinking process and that produced by silane crosslinking process:

V. Packing, transportation and storage
Packing: The net weight of each bag is 25kg or 750kg. It is packed in polyethylene lined with composite kraft paper bag or woven ton bag.
Transportation: The cable material should not be subjected to the sun and rain in the transportation process, and should be handled lightly in the handling process.
Storage: Should be stored in clean, cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, cable material shelf life is three months.
