The characteristics of photovoltaic cable are determined by the special insulating material and sheathing material for the cable, which is called irradiation crosslinked polyolefin material. After irradiation by the irradiation accelerator, the molecular structure of the cable material will be changed, thus improving the performance in all aspects.

In fact, during installation and maintenance, cables may be routed on the sharp edges of the roof structure while cables are subjected to pressure, bending, tension, cross-tensile loads and strong shocks. If the strength of the cable sheath is not enough, the insulation layer of the cable will be seriously damaged, which will affect the service life of the entire cable, or lead to problems such as short circuit, fire, and human injury risk. Radiation crosslinked materials have high mechanical strength. Radiation crosslinking changes the chemical structure of polymer, and the thermoplastic material is transformed into crosslinked material. Radiation crosslinking significantly improves the thermal, mechanical and chemical properties of cable insulating sheaths, and greatly prolonging the service life of cables.

The halogen-free low smoke radiation crosslinked flame retardant polyene cable material produced by our company is based on polyene resin as the main raw material, adding special modifiers, flame retardants, additives through mixing, plasticizing, granulation and thermosetting halogen-free low smoke flame retardant polyene cable material. It is a kind of polyolefin material which can be cross-linked after electron beam radiation. It can be used to prepare photovoltaic cable with working temperature of -40 ~ 90℃ and maximum line temperature of 120℃. The performance conforms to the 2 Pfg 1169/08.2007 and 2 Pfg 1990/05.12 standards of TUV Rhein.

2. Packaging, transportation and storage
Packing: Each bag weighs 25KG or 1000KG net. Aluminum-plastic composite vacuum moisture-proof inner bag, kraft paper composite bag or woven bag for outer packaging.

Storage: Should be stored in clean, cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, cable material shelf life is three months.

Transportation: cable materials should be protected from the sun and rain during transportation, and should be handled lightly during handling.
